A large, luxurious, glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District; inspired by the natural landscape.
The freestanding ornamental wave was handmade from iridescent amethyst and silver grey artisan glass.
The iridescent glass has a gold shimmer, which is more prevalent in limited light or when the wave is laid flat.
It is approximately 37 cm (W) x 10 cm (H) x 5 cm (D).
It is a stand-alone piece of art suitable for display on any flat surface.
It looks particularly stunning when placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as the translucent nature of the curve allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.
It could be used in the evening as a table or shelf decoration with a series of tea lights or small candles placed behind it.
PACKAGING: The wave will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap, placed within a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
