A vibrant blue glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District; inspired by Lake Windermere.
The ornamental wave was handmade from transparent turquoise, cobalt blue, iridescent blue and crystal clear artisan glass.
It is approximately 23 cm (L) x 10 cm (H) x 3 cm (D).
The textured nature of the glass adds additional visual and tactile interest.
The freestanding wave is a stand-alone piece of glass art suitable for display on any flat surface, such as a living room bookshelf, mantlepiece or coffee table.
It looks stunning placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as the translucent nature of the wave allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.
It could be used in the evening as a table or shelf decoration with a series of tea-lights or small votive candles placed behind it.
When laid flat, the wave could be used as an unusual coffee table centrepiece.
PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
