A contemporary freestanding glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District; inspired by the natural landscape.
The wave (s-curved panel) was handmade from iridescent light green, transparent emerald green and crystal clear artisan glass.
It is approximately 23 cm (L) x 10 cm (H) x 3 cm (D).
The textured nature of the clear glass adds additional visual and tactile interest.
The iridescent light green glass has a gold shimmer when placed under direct light.
It is a stand-alone piece of art suitable for display on any flat surface.
The ornament looks particularly stunning placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as the panel allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.
It could be used in the evening as a table or shelf decoration with a tea-light behind (or on top when placed on its side).
PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
