A blue glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District - inspired by the natural landscape.
The freestanding ornamental wave was handmade from royal blue, iridescent sky blue, cobalt blue and crystal clear artisan glass. The iridescent glass has a metallic shimmer.
The textured wave is approximately 23 cm (W) x 9 cm (H) x 3 cm (D).
It is a stand-alone piece of glass art suitable to display on any flat surface, such as a living room bookshelf, mantlepiece, bathroom shelf or windowsill.
The freestanding wave looks particularly stunning placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as the translucent nature of the glass allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.
It could be used as a candle screen in the evening with a series of tea-lights or small votive candles placed behind it.
When laid flat, it could be used as an unusual dining room table or coffee table centrepiece.
PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
