Lilac and Blue Glass Wave

A pretty lilac and blue glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District; inspired by the local heather-clad fells (hills).

The small wave (s curved panel) was handmade from transparent lilac, iridescent sky blue and crystal clear artisan glass. The lilac glass is a vibrant light purple colour. The light blue iridescent glass has a subtle metallic shimmer.

It is approximately 15 cm (L) x 6 cm (H) x 2.5 cm (D).

The textured nature of the clear glass adds additional visual and tactile interest.

It is a stand-alone piece of glass art suitable for display on any flat surface.

The freestanding wave looks particularly stunning placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as its translucent nature allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.

It could also be used in the evening as a table or shelf decoration with a tealight or small votive candle behind it.

PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box.  Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
