A practical grey and blue glass art dish handcrafted in the Lake District; inspired by the natural landscape.
The small dish is an abstract representation of Lake Windermere on a stormy afternoon.
It was handmade from transparent silver grey artisan glass with an off-centre strip of variegated light blue glass.
The blue glass was made from sky blue, royal blue, cobalt blue and white opalescent glass blended to achieve a water effect.
The dish is approximately 14 cm (L) x 10 cm (W), with a depth of about 1 cm.
It is a stand alone piece of glass art suitable for display on any flat surface. It could be used as a large soap dish, trinket dish, ring bowl, earring dish, key bowl or tea-light tray.
PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
